Synthesis and Characterization of Ln (III) Complexes with p-Vanillin

Abstract
In this paper, the decacoordinated complexes of Ln (III) (Ln = Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb) with Schiff base derived from p-vanillin have been reported. The structures of these newly synthesized complexes were established by elemental analysis, molar conductivities, infrared, and thermal analysis. The general molecular formula of the complexes are [LnL2(SO3)3].
